George Jung, infamous cocaine smuggler from Weymouth, dies at 78
George Jung, the cocaine king from Weymouth and subject of the film “Blow," has died. He was 78.
Jung died Wednesday morning at home in Weymouth, reported posts on his Facebook and Instagram pages.

The cause of death is unknown, though he had recently experienced liver and kidney failure, according to published reports.
Jung was born Aug. 6, 1942, to Frederick and Ermine Jung. He spent his childhood in a house on Abigail Adams Circle.
In 1961, he graduated from Weymouth High School, where he was a starting fullback on the varsity football team. He got his early start in business as a Patriot Ledger newsboy.
Jung is survived by a daughter, Kristina Jung.
