This worksheet is to be used with the first part of the three-part series "Amazing Planet", "Born of Fire". This is a great video to use as an introduction or review of geology.

Topics covered in the video include:

* Pangaea

* Natural disasters (volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis)

The episode is 46 minutes long and can be showed over 2 class periods to allow time to pause and discuss.

WARNING:There is a brief graphic image of a victim of a volcanic eruption at about the 33 minute mark that may be upsetting to some viewers, but it can easily be skipped.
